Otter Browser

Using the QtWebKit engine, it's the newest, but WIP project to bring a usable browser to the Windows RT tablets. It's very buggy and a lot of sites crash, but some sites work (better) that don't work on Internet Explorer or Edge. It works on Windows RT 8.0, Windows RT 8.1, and Windows 10. On Windows RT, you must jailbreak in order to run the browser and any other unsigned code, and you need to sign the browser and its dependencies (entire folder) manually with a sign tool found here if you use it.

Microsoft Edge (Pre-Chromium)

A very old version of Edge based on the proprietary EdgeHTML engine developed by Microsoft. While still supporting most of the modern features, it's being actively blocked from use. It also hasn't received security patches for few years, making it very insecure for any normal use.

Internet Explorer

Good ol' IE, we've all used it to play on Newgrounds or Club Penguin back in the glory days. This browser is ancient and can't load modern websites at all. Use at your own risk on modern web.

• Windows RT 8.0 comes with IE 10 instead of IE 11 found on Windows RT 8.1, however, no real benefits will be gained if you upgrade, except maybe some security patches.

Internet Explorer (Metro UI)

No difference from the desktop version of IE, except the UI, which is optimized for touchscreen usage.

Various browsers on the store

Please do not use these! They can include dangerous code or do malicious things on your devices, even if it's an ARM32 one. They have literally no benefits at all from IE/Edge as they are literally shells for Internet Explorer/EdgeHTML, so there's no use in using them.
